Business owners
Maybe you need help with issues like –
√ I don’t understand why the bank doesn’t want to lend me more money! And I don’t know where to turn to get help. I’ve used the equity in my home, maxed out the credit cards and still can’t make ends meet. (Bank denied $60,000 increase in credit card limit. Client asked can I help. I convinced same bank to give client a $250,000 line of credit at prime + 2%)
√ Sales are growing but I never seem to have enough cash to pay all the bills. I need to grow profits & become stronger financially. Not having enough working capital is killing me. (Former bookkeeper had been doing B&O tax report. I did report for 1st time and felt they were overpaying.. contacted an expert in state B&O methods.. I was right. We corrected method and filed claim for a 43% refund for 2005 (which state has paid); we are filing claims for 2006-2009 and going forward the client saves $$$$ every month!)
√ I just want basic financial reports – accurate and on time. My staff needs help and a resource to help them get caught up and our books cleaned up. I Need a simple business plan. (Helped small general contractor by doing payroll, paying bills and all reporting (compliance & project profitability) while owner conducts daily activity with debit card. First time this contractor knows where he stands financially in a timely manner.. not pleasant news but at least he knows where he’s at).
√ If you might want to sell your company. Now is the time to tune it up so the results are better and the books are in great shape so the buyer AND the bank lending the new buyer $ can rely on the figures – this helps you avoid stalling when it looks like you have a deal. Higher profits X Higher multiple = more $$$$$ to you the owner. You can wait and hope or .. take the right steps now for a better result. Also important is to use the right broker. (I can recommend a couple of good business brokers who can handle small and large deals).
√ I’m good at sales (or operations) but I keep putting out fires in accounting and administration.
√ I need a simple personal reporting system and maybe even a budgeting method to help control spending.
√ Making the business the right size for your current situation. Bigger isn’t always better or you may need a transition step before you can grow to the next level.
√ I could benefit from a relationship with the Right Business Advisor/Coach who has successful real world experiences, can relate to my situation, that I can talk to, who is able to help me build competitive advantages.
